John E. Madden, born about 1827 in Tennessee to Esther and Patrick H. Madden, my 3x g-grandparents. I believe he must have been a 1/2 sibling of my 2x great-grandmother, Esther "Hettie"/Esta Madden Moxley, who was named after her mother. Perhaps several kids died between John who was then 23 and the next oldest, Thomas 14, but for now, I'll leave him with Esther as his mother. Patrick H. Madden was born in 1808 in Tennessee. Patrick and Esther had 6 children listed with them in 1850 in the Middle District, Dickson, Tennessee census.
The children listed were:
--John E. 23. --Thomas 14. --Houd 12, "Houd" may have been Patrick's middle name. --Mary M. 11. --Elizabeth 9. --Esther 6, my ancestor later known as "Hettie"/ Esta.
