Biography
Harry was born on 19 September 1886 in Marshall County, KY, USA. He was the son of Ira Owen Maddox and Mary Viola (Sanders) Maddox.
Harry died at the age of 90 on 9 September 1977 in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi, USA.
He married Nell Strow 9/9/1906 in Marshall Co., KY. [1]
They had 4 children.

- Harry D. Maddox, 90, of 1291 North President St., died early Friday night at Doctor's Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Monday from Wright and Ferguson Chapel, burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
- Survivors are: two sons, Harry D. Maddox, Jr., and Allen Maddox, both of Jackson.
- A native of Marshall Co., KY, he lived at Vicksburg from 1920 to 1927 when he came to Jackson as an insurance agent. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Blue Goose International.
