Maren Madsdatter Madsdatter Buch was born about 1540 in Egtved, Jerlev, Vejle, Danmark, daughter of Mads Knudsen Buch (~1505–1584) and Ursula Caspersdatter (1520–1610).
Maren married Stephan Sørensen (born in 1540; son of Søren (Perssen) Sognepræs). Their children were:
- Christen Staphensen Veerst (1570–1629)
- Mette Stephansdatter Buch (1580–1617)
Maren died after 1635 in Veerst Præstegård, Veerst sogn, Ribe amt, aged about 94.
