Biography

1667 Birth and Parentage

Isabell Magruder was born before 1667 in Calvert County, Maryland.. [1]

Marshall believes her father was Alexander Magruder, b. 1610, Belliclone, Perthshire, Scotland, d. 25 Jul 1677, Calvert County, Maryland - Probate (Age 67 years) and her mother was Sarah {Unproven} Taylor, b. 1638, Calvert County, Maryland d. Abt 1671, Upper Marlboro, Calvert County, Maryland (Age 33 years); they married 1652 in Calvert County, Maryland [1]

There are clear interactions between Isabel and her relatives with Alexander Magruder and his relatives. However, Alexander Magruder names only six children in his will. Isabel would have been aged 10 at Alexander's death. The other children named in Alexander's will were all minors, and no explanation has been offered as to why Isabel would have been omitted.Day-1904 06:50, 10 March 2017 (EST)
