08/02/1836 Martin married Anne Carroll at Mountrath, Queens County. Witnesses to the wedding were Patrick & Catherine Bergin, the same surname as brother Patrick Maguire's future wife.

18/7/1836 Martin is charged with Assault & Robbery but found not guilty.

Anne died before Martin commits his next crime.

After 1843 assume all 3 brothers were rural labourers in Snowy Mountains.
Martin remained in the Snowy mountains while James & family travelled west to Wagga, and Patrick & family then travelled south to Murray River as per Patrick jnr's birth then onwards to Morse Creek (Bright) Victoria.
