Hester (Mahon) Matthews is Notable.
Hester was born in 1888. [1] She was the daughter of Thomas Mahon and Geraldine O'Brien.
UK Census Date 1891: Recorded in the household of her Great Grandfather Lord Heytesbury at The Park, Heytesbury Cum, Wiltshire, England. Aged 3. Also in the household were her parents, sister Geraldine and baby brother Bryan.
At age 13 she is living in Clooney, Clare, Ireland with her parents and sister Geraldine.
Hester married Alexander William Matthews in 1919 in Paddington, London.[2]
They had at least one child.
In the 1939 England and Wales Register she and Alexander were living at 308 Brockley Road, Lewisham, London, England.
Occupation: Domestic Stores Manager
Her husband died in 1954.
She passed away in 1980 at the age of 92.[3]
