Florence was born on 2 August 1894 in Wyoming County, New York. Florence was the child of Gilbert Main and Florence Akin. She completed school through the 8th grade.^[1]

On 20 Dec 1911 in Oatka, Wyoming County, NY, Florence Main married Lloyd Lester Adams.^[2]

They had four children: Vincent, Ruth, Thelma (aka Terry), and Doris.

After 1940, they had a farm on Fisher Road in Warsaw.

After her husband Lloyd died in 1977, Florence lived with her daughter Ruth.

OBITUARY Florence M. Adams, 84 died 1/18/1979 at the home of a daughter Mrs. Kenneth Herman, Warsaw. Florence Main Adams born in Warsaw 8/2/1894. Her husband Lloyd died in 1977. Surviving are a son Vincent Adams of Angelica, another daughter Mrs. Joseph Kelly of Mechanicsville, MD, a sister Mrs. Mildred Pfiefer of E. Aurora. 10 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter
