Biography

Herbert Graham Malam was born on 30 August 1885[1] in Auckland, New Zealand. He was the ninth son of John Malam and Sarah Jane Malam.

He married Mabel Mary Hopkins on 3 July 1912 [2] in Congregational Church, New Lynn. Auckland, New Zealand[3].

They had several children together

Evelyn Joyce Malam
Elsie Edith Malam
John Herbert Joel Malam
George Malam

He was a brickmaker at some stage and lived at 106 Great North Road, New Lynn, Auckland in 1961[3] when he died on 25 December 1961[4].

He was Cremated and ashes returned to his family[3] by 28 December 1961[5][6].
