OBITUARY. The late Mrs. Armstrong, whose death took place on Tuesday at Gilnockie, Auburn, was much respected and esteemed in tho neighbourhood. She was a French lady, her maiden name being Malet, and she had for several years resided with her son, a well-known Sydney barrister, and capt. in the Commonwealth forces, at the above address. Another of her sons is Dr. Armstrong, the medical officer of the Public Health Department, and Mr. Tancred Armstrong is her third son. Her only daughter is Mrs. De Carteret, the wife of a barrister now living in England. Commander Richard Ramsay Armstrong, ^[2] of the Imperial Navy, the husband of the deceased, saw active service in the Crimean war, and was formerly resident officer at Lord Howe Island. The funeral was of a strictly private character, a portion of the service being read in St. Thomas Church (the place of worship regularly attended by the Into Mrs. Armstrong) by the rector, the Rev. F. C. Williams, who also conducted tho obsequies at the graveside in the Rookwood cemetery.
