Biography

Elizabeth was born before 1527, to Hugh Malet and Isabel Mitchell of Enmore, Somerset, England.^[1][2]

She married Thomas Ivye, son of Richard Ivye and Isabel Canning, before 1547, which is the latest possible birth of her daughter, Mary, who married Richard Gore in 1562.

Elizabeth had at least six children, all named in Thomas' 1592 will:

1. Mary, born before 1547, m. Richard Gore/Gowre, 1562,
2. Judith, born by 1551, m. Anthony Prater. She died February 5, 1578, West Kingston, Wiltshire, England.^[3][4]
3. Hugh, born about 1551, m. (1) Agnes; m. (2) Ann
4. Richard, born by 1553, d. 26 Oct 1617, of, Charlton, Musgrove, Somerset; m. Jane Dugdale, a widow; died 26 Oct 1617 (source for marriage?)
