Jane Gaylard, the wife of John Gaylard, was buried at Pitminster on June 5, 1589.[8]
Research Notes
Note: This family name has also been found as Wallin and Walein. THB[9]
Phillimore's marriage index has her name as "Mallin". In the original source however, her name is 'Wallin' - the first letter of her name is the same letter as appears in "Wolcott", and different to the 'M's in 'marriage', 'Margery', and 'May' on the same page.
This profile previously claimed that she and John Gaylord were the parents of Deacon William Gaylord, who sailed on the "Mary and John". There is no evidence of this.
