Biography

Leodicea "Dicey" Mangum was born in 1783, in Isle of Wight, Virginia, United States, her father, Richard Mangum, was 32 and her mother, Mourning, was 21. She married Elias Gwaltney in 1805, in Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. She died in 1847, in Smith, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 64.
