Seth Manley was born on 18 Feb 1738 in North Easton, Bristol, Massachusetts to parents Thomas Manley Sr. and Lydia Stone. He married firstly Mercy Keith on 6 Dec 1763 in Easton, Bristol, Massachusetts. Children: Eli, Obed, Seth, Lewis. After Mercy died in 1774 he married secondly Elizabeth Taylor on 2 Jun 1774 in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Children: Daniel, Mary, Sarah, Martha. He died on 6 Jan 1810 in North Easton, Bristol, Massachusetts.

Seth Manley served as a Corporal in the 2nd Regiment, Massachusetts, during the Revolutionary War.

Looks like there were two Seth Manleys serving in the Revolution in Massachusetts. I believe the one in this profile is matched correctly with DAR A073397, as a corporal in Col. Walker's regiment. Col. Timothy Walker commanded the 3rd Massachusetts regiiment in 1775; the other Seth Manley served in 1980 in the 2nd Massachusetts regiment as a private. I found his service record at https://www.fold3.com/image/17240948. Both Timothys are listed in "Rosters of Revolutionary War Soldiers and Sailors," included above as a source.
