Biography

Mary Ann was born in the Cape Colony in about 1868; she was the daughter of Robert Cope Manley and Agnes (Kelbrick) Manley.

She was 34 years old when she married 30-year-old Henry Allen in a private residence at Swart Rivier, Jansenville on 4 March 1903.^[1]

Mary was a 76 year old widow when she passed away at Klipplaat, Jansenville, Cape Province on 25 May 1944.^[2][3]
