Biography
Ethel was born on 13 April 1905; she was the daughter of Ralph Manley and Elizabeth Catherina (van Heerden) Manley.
She was 30 years old when she married 45-year-old Charles Warden Adam in Winburg, Orange Free State on 21 April 1936.[1]
