He was noted as born 1908 in Georgia and single. He was a student as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head J L Manly, wife Jennie Manly, son Pink Manly, son Wright Manly, son Ernest Manly, son Berry Manly, daughter Kennie Manly and daughter Lennie Manly.^[2]
