Biography
Kezia (Manley) Hannaford was born in Devon, England.
Kezia was born in Totnes, Devon, England, in 1838.[1] She was the daughter of Frederick Manley and Jane Bant. She was enumerated in the 1851 census [2] residing with her family in Brixham, Devon.
Kezia married Walter Hannaford in 1862.[3] The marriage was registered in the second quarter in Totnes. The couple would have at least seven children. She was enumerated in the 1871,[4] and 1881 census residing with Walter and their children in Brixham, Devon. [5] In 1891,[6] they were living in Toxteth Park (Liverpool), Lancashire. Kezia appeared in the 1901 census [7] as a sixty two year old widow and mother in law residing in the household of Joseph Cawley, Somerville Road, Waterloo, Lancashire.
Kezia passed away in 1905.[8] Her death was registered in the second quarter in Northwich, Cheshire.
