Benjamin was a selectman in 1763 and '64, and erected a grist mill which formerly stood near the bridge on North St. He resided in the north part of the town on Curtis St.

Inscription Sacred To The Memory of Mr. Benjamin Mann died March 27, 1816 in the 89th Year of his Age.

Benjamin was the son of Benjamin & Martha (Curtis) Mann.

Benjamin married first in Hanover on 23 Nov. 1749, Abigail, daughter of Nathaniel & Hannah (Beal) Gill. She was born in Hinghamon 15 Oct 1732, and died Hanover in 1785.

md. 2. Hanover, 8 Jan. 1786, Bette, widow of Charles Bailey & dau. of Ezekiel Palmer. She d. 1800

md. 3. Phebe, widow of Abner Curtis.
