Louisianna Mann was born on 12 Sep 1826 to Augustine Mann and Penina (Flowers) Mann (1800-1853). Louisianna married Samuel F. Logan in 1847. [1] In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. [2] In 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1900 Louisiana and her husband are in Gonzales County, Texas. [3][4][5][6] Louisianna passed away on 15 Jun 1905 in Gonzales, Gonzales, Texas, USA.[7]

Research notes
Though nearly all documentary evidence suggests that Penina was born in North Carolina where he parents were born, raised and married, several genealogies suggest, without source, that she was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. Perhaps it is a family story. If so, like many family stories, this one seems unlikely to be true.
