Nathaniel Whiting married Margaret Mann in Wrentham on Apr. 18, 1711.[1]

Nathaniel and Margaret settled before 1712 in the part of Medfield that became Medway, where he established a mill and where they had:[2]

  • Esther, b. Mar. 20, 1711-2, [3] married Nathaniel Clark in Medway on June 21, 1732
  • Margaret, b. Oct. 8, 1715
  • Nathaniel, b. Dec. 22, 1725
  • [[Whiting-2748 | Nathan, b. Dec. 22, 1725

Margaret died in Medway on January 11, 1775[4]

From Genealogical and Personal History of Western Pennsylvania:

His (Nathaniel Whiting's) will was dated April 14, 1770, and proved October 1, 1779. In it he mentioned his wife Margaret, daughter Margaret Clark, son-in-law Nathaniel Clark, husband of daughter Esther, grandsons Nathaniel Clark Jr. and Simeon Clark, two granddaughters, children of Nathaniel, deceased, and son Nathan Whiting. He married at Wrentham, April 13, 1711, Margaret Mann, daughter of Rev. Samuel and Esther (Ware) Mann. She was born at Wrentham, December 21, 1691, died January 11, 1775, in her eighty-fourth year, according to her gravestone. Children : Esther, born at Medfield, recorded at Wrentham, March 20, 1711-12; Margaret, born at Medway, October 8, 1715; Nathaniel, born at Medway, December 2.2, 1725; Nathan, twin, mentioned below.

A little generational confusion here. Not surprising in this family cram-packed with Nathaniels. Nathaniel Whiting-1790 is Margaret's son, not her husband, And Elias Whiting-1789 is her grandson. I have attempted to correct things.
