From Find A Grave bio: George was married first to Rebecca Barnett on 27th July 1854 Breathitt County, Ky and had three children (unnamed boy), Bethana and Nathaniel "Dick" Mann and then he married Elizabeth Hensley, and they had Leesther, Lewis Greenville, Nero, Samuel, Galen, Mary, Ardillian, RoseElla and Pearl.

George was on 1860 Breathitt Co. Census with first wife, Rebecca and daughter Bethana age 4. Nathaniel should be on this census if he was born in 1858.

George left Elizabeth after their children were grown and remarried first wife Rebecca and was living in Magoffin County, Ky. on the 1900 Magoffin County Census. They were living next door to a son; Samuel.

When George left Elizabeth, he gave her a "long branch" (hill land) rich in timber and coal. This area became known as Bettsmann Fork and a Post Office there postmarked letters, Bettsmann, Kentucky.
