Adam Mann was born on 12 Jun 1848 in Breathitt, Kentucky, United States, son of John M Mann (1820 - 1905) and Lucinda (Craft) Mann (1823 - 1905).

Adam (~20) married Polly Ann Howard (~18) (born in Breathitt on 7 Jan 1850; died in Breathitt on 17 May 1929), daughter of William George Howard and Elizabeth Barnett, in 1868 in Kentucky.

In the 1880 Census, he lives next door to his wife's mother Elizabeth (Barnett) Howard (1830-1896) and Gardner Slusher. His brother Samuel lives closeby.

Adam died on 28 Apr 1900 in Breathitt aged 51. Adam was mentioned on a memorial in Adam Mann Cemetery, Lambric, Breathitt County, Kentucky with a death date of 28 Apr 1900.[1]
