Robert son of Francis Mann and Eliza was born 7 February 1732 and christened 8 April 1733 at Bristol Parish, Prince George, Virginia[1] He died from Smallbox.

1780 Jan. 14 Will of Robert MANN"...being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory..."To my daughter Lucy NICKOLS one negro woman Nanie now in her possession with increase also all such estate of every kind by me given heretofore. To my daughter Sarah EASLEY one negro woman Luce now in her possession with increase & all estate given heretofore. To my daughter Agness HARRISON one negro man Sim now in her possession with all such estate to her given heretofore. To my daughter Elizabeth MANN one negro woman named MILLEY together with her increase & all estate given heretofore, also one horse called Sterling, one saddle & bridel, feathr bed & furniture, two cows & calves, three ewes & 3 sows & pigs to her & her heirs. To my son William MANN one negro man Jacob also one certain tract of land lying in the co. of Pittsylvania by estimation 300 A., being the same which I purchased of Theophelus LACY, one horse call'd Little Ball, one saddle & bridle, 2 cows & calves, three ewes, 3 sows & pigs, feathr bed & furniture to him & his heirs & assignes. To my daughter Frances MANN one negro boy named Nedd, one black horse (now a colt), one saddle & bridle, 2 cows & calves 3 ewes, 3 sows & pigs, feather bed & furniture to her & her heirs. To my daughter Pheobe MANN one negro girl named Lidd, also one beast & etc. to be given to her at the direction of my wife Pheobe MANN as soon as she marrieth or comes to lawful age. To my daughter Patience MANN one negro girl named Jean to her & her heirs. To my son Robert MANN one negro boy named Lewis, also a tract of land in Halifax Co., being the same I purchased of Jacob LIGHT to him & his heirs & assigns. To my Son John MANN one negro boy named Charles to him & his heirs & assigns also one oiety of the tract of land whereon I now dwell to be divided equally in such manner as to leave out the plantation I now dwell on to the other moiety of the said land which said woodland moity I give to him & his assigns after the death of my wife Pheobe MANN. To my son Joel MANN 2 negroe boys Isaac & Abraham. Also the other moity of land whereon I now dwell including the plantation after the death of my wife Pheobe MANN to him & his heirs & assigns. To my daughter Polly MANN 2 negroes a girl named Sook & a boy named Ben to her & her heirs. I lend unto my beloved wife Pheobe MANN during her natural life for the use & toward supporting & raising my children the following negro slaves namely, Jack, London, Sarah, Neice, Tom & Jude together with their increase. Also all my stocks of horses, cattle, sheep & hogs, household & kitchen furniture & plantation utensils of all sorts except such parts as have herein before & hereafter given. To my chiledren namely, Patience, Robert, John, Joel & Polly each one beast, saddle & bridle, 2 cows & calves, 3 ewes, 3 sows & pigs, one feather bed & furniture to be given as they marry or come to full age by my said wife Pheobe MANN. It is my will & I accordingly order that all my estate lent to my said wife after her death be sold & money arising be equally divided among all my children namely, Lucy NICHOLS, Sally EASLEY, Agnes HARRISON, Betsey MANN, William MANN, Frances MANN, Pheobe, Patience, Robert, John, Joel & Polly MANN to them or their legal representatives.
