Mary Mansfield was born July 4, 1741, the daughter of Andrew Mansfield and Mary Newhall of Salem, Massachusetts^{[1] [2]}

On November 22, 1763, she married Stephen Bradshaw Jr., the son of Stephen Bradford and Mary Williams of Medford, Massachusetts^{[3] [4]}.

Their children included^[5]:

1. Stephen, born Sept. 15, 1764 in Amesbury^{[6] [7]}, who may have died young, or been baptized in 1766 (see below)
2. Polly or Mary Bradshaw, born Sept 14, 1768 in Salem^{[5] [8]}
3. Stephen, born 1766^{[5] [9]}, who died Dec. 29, 1842 in Salem^[10]

Stephen Bradshaw died July 28, 1788^[11], , where his brother John was living. He was buried July 31, 1778 in Beverly, Massachusetts^[12]

On Feb. 28, 1781, his widow Mary (Mansfield) Bradshaw remarried Robert Peele, the son of Robert Peele and Mary Bartlett of Salem^{[13] [14]}. Their children included

1. William, baptized March 3, 1781^[15].

Mary (Mansfield) Bradshaw Peele died January 22, 1824, at age 83 in Salem^[16]
