and died January 4 1747; burial 6 JAN 1747.

He married first in 23 Dec 1696 Hester aka Esther Horton. [1]
He married second in May 1711 Abigail ______; most of the entry was unreadable
_____an Mapes and _______was recorded by William Salmon, transcriber. [1] and third 28 Nov 1733 Mary Terry probably also in or near Southold as the marriage was recorded there. [2] [1][3]

Death

Sargant Jonathan Mapes death Southold records 4 Jan 1747 aged 79 years. [1]

Mapes-167 and Mapes-33 appear to represent the same person because: Same name and same wife. Estimated birth year for one is the only discrepancy and can probably be ignored.
