Juliette (pronounced Ju-let-tee) Loretta Maples/Allen/McElroy/Bruning, the daughter of Gilford and Elenore "Nellie" McMahan, married William D. McElroy on 27 October 1888 in Sevier County, TN. They were married until 1922. After that, she married Charles Bruning. The name on her grave is Loretta Bruning. She is buried within a couple of rows of William D. McElroy. She had nine children. She was known for her entreprenerial activities. In Cleveland, she fixed and sold lunches to factory workers, took in ironing and helped or ran the Renu Bleach Company. The family made the bleach and sold it out of their panel truck in Cleveland. She was a very hardworking woman who, although she didn't work for anyone else, was able to earn money for her family.
