Biography

Laban Marcy was born in Woodstock, Connecticut on 7 March 1780. He was the son of Asahel and Priscilla Marcy.^[1] He married Fanny Howe about 1810. They locaed in Greenwich, Massachusetts, where he practiced law for fifty years. He was elected a member of the Massachusetts Legislature twenty times and was a member of the Constitutional Conventions fo 1820 and 1853.^[2]
