Birthyear guessed from year of wedding.
The burial entry for Ann gives her name as Elizabeth. This is oddly the same as William Beacock's mother Ann Dovehill, who was known as Elizabeth throughout her life. The burial entry for Elizabeth Beacock on 22 January 1756 must be for Ann for 1) it explicitly says "widow of William Beacock", 2) there is no Winteringham burial for Ann, and 3) there is nobody called Elizabeth wedded to a William Beacock in the village.
Why both Ann Dovehill and Anne Markham came to be known as Elizabeth is an open question.
