MARKS, Marie Magdelaine - spouse of Jean Baptiste MOREN [MORIN]. Died 7 Jan. 1819 at her home at la Preerie [Prairie] Basse at Gran coteau at age 50 years. She was unable to receive the sacraments since the priest was not notified when he should have been; bur. 8 Jan. 1819 in the parish cemetery. Fr. Flavius Henri ROSSI (Opel. Ch.: v.1, p.175).

Marks-1465 and Marx-37 appear to represent the same person because: The original profile for Marx-37 had no information except the name the death date. the date listed was the burial date and this is definitely the same person.

Marks-1465 and Marx-37 are not ready to be merged because: These may represent the same person, but seeing as there is very little information on Marx-37 in the biography and profile, I would like to first do a proper investigation into this profile before I merge them. Marks-1465 and Marx-37 appear to represent the same person because: These look like they may represent the same person due to the similarity of name and date of death. There is so little detail with Marx-37 that it is difficult to tell. I can say that there is not a birth/baptism record for her in Dec. 1749 New Orleans records (or in time frame of 1718-1771 (vols I and II) nor in DIOBR (Pointe Coupee & Vol. 2) or Natchitoches for the surrounding time period. Please merge if they represent the same person. Thanks.
