Oswald was born in 1891 at Randwick, New South Wales.[1]
He married May Harvey in 1912 at Waverley, New South Wales.[2]
Oswald was appointed trustee of the Long Jetty public lands in 1948."Reserve No. 63,174 at Long Jetty, notified 22nd January, 1932, for Public Recreation and Camping-:—Oswald Charles Marks, Esq. (in the place of Mr. T. J. Crimmins, retired). P. 48-5,521." [3]
Oswald died on 2 March 1986. [4]
"In loving memory of our dear parents Mary Elizabeth Marks died 28 December 1971 aged 80 years and Oswald Charles Marks died 2 March 1986 aged 95 years (on flower vase from Denise and Glen) ".[5]
