Glen E. Marks Sr., 81, of Olney, died at 7:27 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Mr. Marks was born February 11, 1930, in West Salem, the son of Wallace Martin and Flossie Mae (Walker) Marks.

He married Dorothy Mae Waters on July 12, 1948, in Morganville, Ky. She survives.

He owned Marks Sunset Manor. He was a member of Olney Free Methodist Church, Olney Masonic Lodge, was a Shriner and was a member of the Motor Patrol.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Marks, of Olney; daughter, Linda Sue Malone and her husband, Tom, of Enfield; daughter, Terrie Lee Marks, of Olney; daughter, Sandra King and her husband, Rhett, of Tega Cay, S.C.; daughter, Melody Kim Lehman and her husband, Daryl, of Ft. Worth, Texas; best friend, Little Bit; nephew, Larry Marks and his wife, Jeannie, of Salem; sister, Mary Ann Malone, of London, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Glen Jr. and David; and brothers, Bernard and Ernie.
