Norval Marley was born in the United Kingdom. He was the son of Ellen Broomfield and Albert Thomas Marley.

He joined the British Army in August 1916 at Liverpool, to prepare for the Royal Pioneer Corps (domestic service).

Norval Marley married Cedelia Malcolm at Saint Ann, Jamaica on the 9th of June 1944.[1]

Norval Marley died in 1957 in Jamaica . [2]
