Biography

George Marlow was born in 1750 in Colony of Virginia, son of Edward Marlow (abt. 1717–1761) and Sarah Mauhand (1715–1770).[1]

George (21) married Ellender Barksdale (21) in 1772 in Pittsylvania, Colony of Virginia. Their children were:

  1. Sarah Brown Marlow
  2. Edward Marlow ( –abt. 1805)
  3. George Elmer Marlow (1780–1884)
  4. Richard Marlow (abt. 1783–aft. 1849)
  5. Payton Marlow (1787–1862)
  6. Elizabeth Betsey Marlow (1788–1839)
  7. Barksdale Marlow (1789–1864)
  8. Carter Marlow (abt. 1795–1861)

George died in 1812 in Wilson County, Tennessee, United States, aged 61.
