John Marriner, the son of John (Marriner) Mariner and Eunice Dyer was born on October 1, 1779 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, United States.^[1]

He married Mary 'Polly' Dyer on September 11, 1803 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[2]

He died at age 41 on July 18, 1821, and was buried in the Western Cemetery in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[3]
