Rachel was baptised on 6 July 1884 in St Catherines Ch, Wigan, Lancs, England.

When Rachel was 26 she married Albert Taylor on 3 June 1911 in St George's Ch, Wigan, Lancs, England. The couple had 2 children: George Taylor and Ann Taylor.[1]

Rachel was the daughter of Israel and Ann Marsden, nee Mills, a Labourer.
The 1861 Census shows her parents living with Ralph (b1820) and Joseph (b1837) Marsden (probably Israel's brother and his son)
The 1891 Census shows her Parents, her sisters Eleanor 23, Mary 17, brothers Israel 14, William 10, and Rachel herself aged 6.
The 1911 Census shows Rachel's Mother Ann as a widow and Rachel's sister Eleanor was also living with them. In addition, 4 grandchildren (John AM, James, Eleanor and Edith L) are shown.
At the time of her marriage she was a housekeeper living at 29 Upper Morris St, Wigan, which was a pub called "The Grapes". It was Edwin Taylor's regular pub at one time.
On the Electoral Roll of 1960 Rachel was living with her husband, Albert, at 31 Stopforth St, Wigan. In 1971 Albert is still there but Rachel was missing, believed to have died. Rachel was cremated at Wigan crematorium

There was no father listed but he was the son of Mary Marsden. (IGI)
Israel Marsden married Ann Mills at St George's Cof E Wigan, in 1860 (Ref No C30/1/473).

As shown in the bio here, Rachel's parents were Israel Marsden (Marsden-780) and Ann Mills (Mills-10152), which I've recently created. I'm hoping that someone will be able to connect them all up together.
