Biography

Elizabeth was the third child of George and Elizabeth Marsh. She was born in England. [1]

Marriages

John Turner had married his first wife Elizabeth Marsh by 1647, when they had a child in Roxbury.[2]

Elizabeth Marsh Turner died on 7 October 1647, in Roxbury, two weeks after delivery of her only known child Elizabeth. She was identified in church records as "Goodwife Turner,dyed in child bed . . 1647 month 8 day 7."[3]

  • Elizabeth b. Sep 27, 1647, m. Samuel Smith, 22 Dec 1669, died at the hands of the Indians who raided Medfield 21 Feb 1675-6.[7][6]
