Frances Evelyn Marsh was the first wife of Major Loggins. She was half Cherokee and half Irish.[citation needed]
Major Loggins married Frances Evelyn March on September 30, 1866, in Blount County, Alabama.[1] They had 7 children before her death in 1889, William being the oldest.
F. Evelyn Marsh Loggins died in 1889 and is buried at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Locust Fork, Blount County, Alabama, USA.[2] You can see a picture of her grave marker at Find A Grave. Her marker is next to that of her husband, Major Loggins.
She died young and it is believed that she died of tuberculosis.[citation needed]
