Biography

Joseph was a Friend (Quaker)

Joseph was born on 20 Apr 1754 in Fairfield, Connecticut Colony. He was the son of Elihu Marsh and Zerviah (Abbe) Marsh. [1]

Joseph married Abigail Waldo on 29 November 1781 in New Milford, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States.[2] Children of Joseph and Abigail, born at New Milford, Conn.[1]

  2. Hannah, born Sept. 10, 1784
  3. Zerviah (Surizah or Seviah), born April 3, 1787
  4. Aribella, born Feb. 20, 1789.
  5. Samuel-Waldo, born Apr. 18, 1791

Abigail died January 28, 1793.

Joseph then married Deborah Waldo on 19 November 1793 in New Milford, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States.[3]

Marsh-7567 and Marsh-2648 appear to represent the same person because: There is no source for the birth date and location for Marsh-2648, which do not match. However, the children do match up with the Waldo Genealogy source. That source also notes Joseph is the son of Elihu so the parents are wrong on this record

Just found that there is also. Joseph Marsh (1755-1824) He is listed with the same father as this person.
