Abraham Marsh served in the 84th Regiment (Royal Highland Emigrants). He married Catherine French.
A United Empire Loyalist, he settled on his land grant in Cornwall Township, Upper Canada (Ontario). He served as a justice of the peace and represented his county in the Legislative Assembly of Upper Canada from 1810 to 1812.
He died in the village of Milles Roches in 1833. Before the flooding of the village during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway, his remains were moved to the new Maple Grove Cemetery, Cornwall, Ontario.[1][2]
