The death occurred unexpectedly at Grafton District Hospital, early this morning, of Mr. Benjamin ("Barney") Marsh, of Iluka, at the age of 60 years. He also held the position of president of the Iluka Progress Association and the Fisher men's Association. He had a close knowledge of the tides prevailing at the Clarence entrance and his advice was always sought by engineers interested in the bar improvements at the river entrance.
