Biography

Birth

Frances Martin was a daughter of Nicholas Martyn and his wife Margaret Wadham. An estimated date for her birth would be about 1562 (giving an age of 15 at marriage)

Marriage

She married Thomas White in 24 Sept 1577 at Puddletown, Dorset .^[1]

On her father's death, Frances and her sister, Elizabeth, Jane and Ann were co-heirs in his estate. This was further augmented on the death of her mother Margaret who became a co-heir of her brother Nicholas Wadham.^{[2] [3]}
