Biography

Birth

Frances Martin was a daughter of Nicholas Martyn and his wife Margaret Wadham. An estimated date for her birth would be about 1562 (giving an age of 15 at marriage)

Marriage

She married Thomas White in 24 Sept 1577 at Puddletown, Dorset .[1]

On her father's death, Frances and her sister, Elizabeth, Jane and Ann were co-heirs in his estate. This was further augmented on the death of her mother Margaret who became a co-heir of her brother Nicholas Wadham.[2] [3]

Martin 30 years and more at his fathers death in 1626 but admitted to Middle Temple in November 1598 so born in about 1580

Martin-34459 and Martin-3698 are not ready to be merged because: The father (Thomas White) would have been 10 years old when having children. This needs significant sources.
