Biography

Jean-Baptiste Martin was born on March 15 1704 at Port Royal Acadia (Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia Canada). He was baptised by Father Felix Pain on April 13 at St-Jean-Baptiste parish at Port Royal.

His parents were René Martin and Marie Mignier. His godparents were Jean Teriot and Marie Joseph Landry.[1]

On 24 November 1732 at Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, he married Marie Brun, daughter of Claude Brun and Cecile Dugas. [2]

Jean-Baptiste died between 9 September 1765 and 5 September 1774.
