Biography
Sarah Ann (Martin)Sheppard was born on April 27, 1822, in Tennessee, her father was 37, and her mother was 30. She married Mr. Sheppard on November 25, 1841, in Knoxville, Tennessee. They had six children in 20 years. She died on November 4, 1910, in Austin, Texas, having lived a long life of 88 years, and was buried there.
