Biography
Joan (Martin) Curnow was born in Cornwall, England.
Joan was probably born between 1600 and 1610 to John Martin of Towednack, Cornwall, and his wife Temperance.
In John Martin's will, dated 16 November 1629, he names his wife Temperance, son Davie and daughter Joan, appointing them as joint executors. To his daughter Joan he bequeathed tenements in Amalebrea and Lady Downs in Towednack.[1]
Joane Martin married Thomas Cornow (Curnow) junior on 26 October 1630 at Towednack. [2]
Joan, wife of Thomas Cornow, was buried on 11 March 1686/87 at Towednack.
