Martin-18857 and Martin-17654 do not represent the same person because: Neither profile is presently adequately sourced. The children alive at the time of the father's death are listed in the Will now abstracted on Martin-18857. The children on Martin-17654 do not appear in that will. In Martin-18857 the parents at the top of the profile are not the parents linked in the narrative bio. There is a primary source for the parents in the Comments below the profile (provided these are the same Zachariah Martin.

Martin-18857 and Martin-17654 are not ready to be merged because: I do not see enough data to presume they are the same person
Martin-18857 and Martin-17654 appear to represent the same person because: same birth date, but off by a year. Bristol Parish Register shows John as father. These appear to be duplicate profiles for the same person... Pretty sure Martin-17654 is lowest # for him. Please merge (Register shows 1729).
