Hi Edward, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in Scotland. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on Scottish Clans here called Scottish Clans Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree. There are lots of hints, links etc for helping you with Scottish research.

Hello, I am Edward Martin, and I am joining this page, as I want to find my Scottish roots. My great grandfather was George martin, born in about 1830. I need to know where he was born, and he apparently emigrated to Brant Coundy In Ontario, as found in a census in 1860 in Ontario.
