Biography

Martha Martin, a daughter of John Martin Sr and Hester or Esther Roberts, was born 19 Jun 1653 Dover, Strafford, NH.

She married John Langstaff 29 Dec 1669 in Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ. He was a son of Henry Langstaffe and Josephine Knight and was born 29 Apr 1647 Bloody Point, Dover, Strafford, NH.

Children: 1. Martha Langstaff 1672–Deceased 2. Henry Langstaff 1675–1676 3. Lucilla Langstaff 1677–Deceased 4. Mary Langstaff 1678–Deceased 5. John Langstaff 1682–1761 6. Sarah Langstaff 1683–1742 7. Henry Langstaff 1686–1762 8. Samuel Langstaff 1691–Deceased 9. Priscilla Langstaff 1694–1762

She died 13 Nov 1694 and her husband John Langstaff died 24 May 1707 in Piscataway. They were both buried at Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Edison, Middlesex, NJ
