Jean Baptiste Martin, son of the late Paul Martin and Marie Genevieve Dubois natives of Acadie, and Francoise Belé, daughter of the late Francois Belé and Marie Felicitte Frugau, were married 22 Aug 1774 in the parish of Saint-Vallier, Province de Québec. [3]
Jean Baptiste Martin mendicant, husband of Francoise Bellaire and with a given age of about fifty-eight years, died 30 May 1806 and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon, Saint-Henri, Bas-Canada. [5]
