William married Grace Waring 8 Feb. 1772 Ricland county, South Carolina. Grace was living in 96th District, SC in 1784[1]
Captain William Martin was killed at the Siege of Augusta.[2][3] He had served in the 4th South Carolina Regiment and in the Georgia Militia.[4]
Children include: Elizabeth (married Gabriel Tutt).[5]
