Biography

Mason Martin was born about 1798;^[1] he was the son of Moses Martin and Sarah Singleton.

On 3 Aug 1834 in Washington County, Indiana,^[2] Mason L. Martin married Harriet Martin.

In 1850,^[1] Mason Martin (age 51, born Kentucky) was living in Jackson Township, Washington County, Indiana as head of household with his wife, Harriet Martin (age 35, born Kentucky), with their Martin children, all born in Indiana (age, sex): i) Alexander C. (14, M), ii) Lafayette (13, M), iii) Henry (9, M), iv) Luther (7,M), v) Emily (4, F), vi) Cassins M. C. (0, M), vii) Catherine (0, F); also in the household was Mary A.
